STEP 22 Spare Tire Mounting Blocks create a rock-solid foundation for attaching exterior gear bags or other accessories directly to your spare tire. Engineered specifically for off-road use, these blocks are designed to stay put when the trail gets rough.
Each block features slotted passthroughs for a 2″ web strap from a heavy-duty ratchet strap (not included). Once tightened, the aggressive teeth along the bottom edge bite into the tire, preventing slippage or rotation during heavy trail impacts or extended washboard sections.
Precision-built from powder-coated aluminum, each block includes integrated 1/4″-20 PEM nuts and MOLLE-compatible slots for expanded mounting flexibility. Designed to pair seamlessly with the Trash Panda Trail Pack™, Javan Journey Pack™, and Pygmy Pouch™, these blocks deliver unmatched stability for off-road, overland, and utility setups.

Tire Mounting Blocks are designed to be secured using a 2″ endless loop ratchet strap. Use the STEP 22 2″ Endless Loop Ratchet Strap or your own 2″ strap to properly anchor the blocks to your spare tire.

The Pygmy Pouch™ adds fast-access, small-item storage to a Trash Panda–based AMP Trail System setup. It can be mounted using Spare Tire Mounting Blocks or adapted to MOLLE panels and other surfaces using PEM Plates, MOLLE Strappy Dappies™, or custom mounting solutions, making it easy to integrate alongside larger packs or run independently.
