Compatible with STEP 22 Spare Tire Mounting Blocks, MOLLE Mount PEM Plates, and other ¼″-20 threaded systems, these fasteners are trail-tested and vehicle-ready, ideal for overland, off-road, and utility builds where reliability matters.
Important note for AMP Trail System products:
When mounting AMP-compatible gear - including the Javan Journey Pack™ and Pygmy Pouch™ - both flat washers and lock (split) washers are required. Flat washers distribute load across the rigid back panel, while lock washers help prevent loosening from vibration and trail use. Together, they ensure a secure, long-term mount and are considered required components for proper installation.
When mounting AMP Trail System bags to STEP 22 Spare Tire Mounting Blocks, ¼″-20 bolts in a 5/8″ length are recommended to ensure proper clearance and avoid interference with the mounting strap during installation and use.
